We are facing a huge problem of the earths's atmosphere heating up caused by record co2 concentrations than ever before. this is caused by transport and industrial machinery mainly. Global warming is also caused by pollution in our waterways which is another important reason for our study. When the tide is out and people are using the beach and then litter, after a while the tide will turn and come in and sweep all that rubbish into our waterways and pollute them. This also damages our marine life and plastic is a real problem because birds can look for food in the water and get suffocated by the plastic. Also when the earth's atmosphere heats up it melts glaciees and icy places like Greenland and the Arctic and causes the water levels to rise and if the levels rise too much it will cause erosion.
